Purpose: To foster among priests continuation of the Church's long tradition in the United States of supporting working men and women and to bring the Church's Social Teaching and U.S. Labor Law to bear on one another.
Gene Pocernich has become the AUSCP delegate to the Priest-Labor Initiative and NACPA which is revising the 1986 NACPA Just Treatment document -- an important document for U.S. Church employees. Members of the group conducted conference calls with one another and provided material that was sent to AUSCP members via the newsletter.
